Refsan raku kilns are kilns that are used to bring your ceramics to the cooking temperature as quickly as possible and provide easy opening to quickly remove your ready-made products from the kiln.

The top opening kiln door provides you with a safe working environment while you remove your products.

Raku is a Japanese firing technique dating back to the 16th century. The Japanese word raku (楽) roughly translates to "pleasant", "ease" and "comfort". Today, you can find many variations in the raku glazing and raku firing process.

Using cracked glazes, copper glazes and horsehair to create semi-defined patterns, patterns can be created using other carbon-based materials (newspaper, straw and sawdust, etc.).
